How do I determine which lock is best for my specific home security needs?
We recommend checking the security rating on each product page. For exterior doors, look for Grade 1 or Grade 2 deadbolts. For sheds or gates, our weather-resistant padlocks with boron alloy shackles offer the best protection against bolt cutters and the elements.
Can I order multiple locks that all function with the same key?
Yes, we offer a 'Keyed Alike' service for many of our residential door locks and padlocks. Simply select the Keyed Alike option when adding items to your cart, or contact our support team for custom keying requirements.
What is your return policy if a lock doesn't fit my door?
We offer a 30-day return policy for all unused items in their original packaging. If a lock doesn't fit your door's backset or thickness, you can initiate a return through our customer portal for a full refund minus shipping costs.
How long does shipping take for bulk hardware orders?
Standard ground shipping typically takes 3-5 business days. For bulk orders or custom-keyed sets, please allow an additional 2-3 business days for processing and assembly before the items are dispatched.
Do Master Lock products come with a manufacturer warranty?
Most Master Lock products carry a Limited Lifetime Warranty that covers mechanical defects under normal use. If your lock fails due to a manufacturing flaw, we will replace it free of charge.
What should I do if I forget the combination to my resettable lock?
For security reasons, there is no master override code for resettable combination locks. We strongly encourage users to register their combinations on our secure online vault at the time of purchase to avoid permanent lockouts.
